Story

Two years ago my dear friend Simon Goss died of lung cancer at the tragically young age of 44. Many of you knew him and miss him as much as I do. Simon's wife, Patti, and sons Tom and Joe set up a charity fund with the Roy Castle Foundation to raise money for research into better screening and early diagnosis so other families might be spared the awful loss they suffered. Helped by events such as the Simon Says nights at the Jazz Cafe, the fund has raised nearly £19,000 in barely two years. This weekend I'll be hauling myself through the Blenheim triathlon and I'd like to help push that figure over £20,000. I hope you can help by sponsoring me. I know times are hard and money is tight for most of us but a few pounds won't be missed and it could make a lasting difference. Thank you. Love, Oren
